Signed lower left and on verso, dated 1883. Both the house and barn still stand on Rte 302 at the

western end of Bartlett. The house, built in 1796, is the office for Mountain Home Cabins and the barn

is the office and warming hut for Bear Notch Ski Touring Center, both owned by the Garland family.

The ridgeline is part of Mt. Langdon. It is rare that Shapleigh's barns have positive identification.

Bridge at Jackson $12,500.00

Town Hall, built in 1879. The farmer is standing on the west side of the river. The building at middle

right is Jackson's first hotel, The Jackson Falls House, built in 1857. The top of Jackson Falls is upper
