. . .keeping the past alive
The Jackson Historical Society turned up the spooky fun at this year's Halloween Hallow! Our table was a haunted masterpiece: decorated pumpkins, a clever LEGO Halloween wreath, the enchanting Hester Hex the bunny, and creepy-crawly spiders that sent shivers down spines. Big thanks to organizer Jackie Connors, with awesome support from Joyce and Huntley Allen and Leslie Schomaker—the event was an absolute scream!
In a daring display of determination, Curtains Without Borders and a spirited crew from the Historical Society, led by Stephen Weeder, transformed a chilly, powerless building—closed to the public—into a stage for triumph! With no heat or electricity to aid them, this bold team ascended to the second floor, unfurling and hanging the iconic theater curtain with flair, breathing new life into the historic space!
